1. MUDE - Museu do Design (MUDE), a cultural facility of the MUNICIPALITY OF LISBON, respects the rules of privacy and protection of personal data contained in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (GDPR) on the protection of individuals with regard of the processing of personal data and on the movement of such data, as well as applicable national legislation.

4. Purposes and lawfulness of processing - Based on the data subject's consent, the collection and processing of personal data is strictly necessary for the purpose of registering as a reader of the MUDE Design Library, serving for user management, resource loans, statistical purposes of the Centro de Documentação e Informação [Documentation and Information Centre] (CDI), for the possible sending of information related to activities promoted by the CDI and within the scope of the public interest functions pursued by this MUDE service, which are to guarantee access and research to all users of its documentary Collection (bibliographic and archival).

5. Recipient(s) of the data - The personal data collected is intended to be used exclusively by MUDE and the company Wecul - Sistemas de informação, Lda, for the purpose of maintenance and technical assistance of the Nyron software and is not intended to be passed on to other facilities of the MUNICIPALITY OF LISBON, or other municipal, national or international entities.

6. Retention of personal data - The personal data collected is kept for the purposes indicated in point 4, until the right to object or erase is exercised, within the regulatory and legal limits, or, where applicable, consent is withdrawn.

7. Rights of personal data subjects - Personal data subjects have the right to access information about the processing(s) of their data, to have it rectified if it is not correct, or to have it erased. In addition to these rights, designated and protected in the GDPR as the right to information, the right of access, the right to rectification, and the right to erasure, applicants also have the right to restriction of processing, data portability, objection, and non- subjection to decisions based on automated processing, including profiling, which can be exercised with the Data Controller, or made known to the Data Protection Officer or complained to the National Supervisory Authority, and any violations can be grounds for a claim for compensation before the competent courts.
